TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This contest is open to legal residents of Canada. The Contest will run from July 1, 2010 to November 15, 2010, with one (1) random draw being held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on or about November 21, 2009. Names will be drawn from all entrants that have accepted the contest terms and conditions. Entries will be discarded after the draw date. The deadline for entering the contest is 12:00 Noon AST Monday, November 15, 2010. Names will be drawn from all entrants that have accepted the contest terms and conditions.
HOW TO ENTER: Visit the Bluenoser Contest at www.eDining.ca. Each entrant will be required to fill out and complete the Official Registration Form by following the instructions provided on the website. No other methods of entry will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person per draw. Entries are limited to individuals only; commercial enterprises and business entities are not eligible. The Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (herein known as the “Sponsor”), is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information by participants; lost entries or transmissions, interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical malfunctions or the computer hardware, software, or any combination thereof; or problems associated with any virus or any other damage caused to participants' systems. Incomplete entries will be voided.
To be eligible for the Contest, all fields must be completed in full on the ballot. All entries become the property of eDining.ca, and will not be returned or acknowledged.
If you are the random winner you will receive two (2) tickets to the 2011 Savour Food and Wine Show in Halifax, Nova Scotia, travel fare aboard VIA Rail for two (2) people and and two (2) nights accommodation at the Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
Winners agree to have their photo, name and area of residence posted on eDining.ca and its affiliate websites, on marketing materials and in eDining.ca and Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia publications.
Prize must be claimed via e-mail no later than two (2) days after the winner is notified by email or phone, otherwise the specified prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prize tickets must be booked less than 2 weeks in advance of departure date, are subject to availability and promotional space at the time of booking. Travel must also be completed no later than December 31, 2010.
The winners will be chosen at random by a Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia employee.
Decisions relating to the prize drawing and interpretation of contest rules shall be made by the Executive Director of the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia. All decisions of the Contest judges are final.
eDining.ca, its marketing partners their employees and employee's families are ineligible for this contest.
Winners are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein including, without limitation, applicable taxes, ground transportation, meals, beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, insurance together with any required travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature, together with any applicable overnight layover. Departure dates and hotel accommodations are subject to availability and change without notice or compensation.
This contest is open to all residents who have reached the age of majority according to the law of the province in which they are resident.
The contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and is void where prohibited by law.
By submitting a Contest Ballot, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and regulations.
No substitution or transfer of prize or election of cash in lieu of prize will be permitted. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, with appropriate legal approval, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest and to select the single prize winner from among the entries received prior to the suspension or termination of the program; and the Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with or in any way corrupts the entry process. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant or any other individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
